We are currently seeking a dynamic Vice President of IT, Enterprise Infrastructure Services to join our team at our office in Boston, MA or Reston, VA.  The Vice President, Enterprise Infrastructure Services will be responsible for achieving service management and excellence through the transformation, integration and expansion of an intelligent technology infrastructure, leveraging voice-over-IP and third party / cloud models to ensure we are delivering best-in-class offerings through standardization.  Continue to anticipate the technological needs whilst defining and delivering future proof capabilities and create innovative and cost effective solutions for all our constituents – clients, members, providers and each other.

About the Position:

  • Encourage innovation across Beacon Health Options with a focus on improved product development and reduced time to value for new business capabilities
  • Responsible for partnership and collaboration with various cross-functional teams like product management, process, project and program management, infrastructure, operations and business teams etc.
  • Strong multi-level relationship management, persuasion and influencing skills
  • Ensure the strategic relevancy of transformation in a repeatable fashion as cycle times and rollouts happen faster and coincide with organizational growth requirements
  • Re-orienting traditional and specific technology-oriented disciplines to the new workflows and processes coming from the organization
  • Promoting sound fiscal management
  • Providing network, system, VoIP, and services management, maintenance, and support with emphasis on a high level of security, availability, and reliability
  • Remaining sufficiently flexible to pursue aggressive development and expansion of new services - current, comprehensive, responsive, reliable, available, and intuitive
  • To provide pervasive, leading-edge technology services to support the vision and mission of Beacon Health Options
  • Define Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)/Service Level Agreements(SLAs) for IT Service Areas and establish monitoring and governance processes while overseeing the implementation to ensure maximum business value
  • To ensure continuous improvement of business processes and systems to maximize organizational effectiveness
  • To attract, develop, and retain qualified employees to enrich the technology services culture, to enhance IT effectiveness and contribution to Beacon Health Options
  • Drive the development of Beacon’s cloud computing strategy, cloud suitability assessment, and cloud computing strategic plan for an environment that is security focused yet external client dependent
  • Work closely with leadership across the organization to define and implement an automated cloud computing solution/ platform supporting diverse and evolving offerings
  • Drive an effective cloud platform product management process to support aggressive delivery and growth goals
  • Designing, building and delivering world-class cloud, managed and hosted services
  • Drive the architecture, design and implementation of VoIP-based solutions
  • Ability to introduce and develop valuable cloud computing engagements or infrastructure related changes to support the cloud strategy
  • Drive for financial results of sales and profitability across short and long term timescale
  • Responsible for creating the cloud-like environment that can support the next-gen processes and workflows that will be needed as Beacon requires
  • Integrating advanced analytics capabilities with automation and service integration to make our infrastructure smarter and more autonomous
  • Identifying and incorporating solutions through the dynamic implementation and management of emerging technologies
  • Endeavoring to advance the capabilities of our existing information technology infrastructure and services
  • Broadly disseminating information regarding new technological developments 

 Position Requirements:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field required.  MBA preferred.
  • Relevant Work Experience: 15 + years of experience in the technology profession focused on IT technology services design and management required.  Also 10+ years of program and project management experience, including estimating and forecasting, budget and financial management, staffing / hiring and resource management required

 Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

  •  Experience in architecting and implementing cloud solutions using likes of AWS, Azure or other solutions
  • Proven experience building and leading global high performance technical infrastructure teams such as systems engineers, systems administrators, network engineers (voice & data) and database engineers/administrators
  • Proven ability to translate business requirements into solutions that map to technology capabilities
  • Ability to provide cross-functional leadership to ensure project objectives and deadlines are met
  • Experience in managing and operating a global technology services environment is required
  • Understanding of how application development and business organizations use technology services
  • Analytical problem solving and fact finding skills
  • Excellent supervisory and management skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills
  • Ability to identify, clarify and resolve project activity issues and risks as needed
  • Experiences across both application development and IT technology services / operations desired
  • Experience with technology architecture and platform integration is required
  • Ability to execute effective decision making in an environment with rapidly changing priorities
  • Must be a disciplined process-oriented leader, able to lead implementation of best practice controls and processes
  • Must be highly organized, high energy, and results oriented individual capable of providing technical leadership within and across the organization
  • Effective decision-making skills, even under pressure and while lacking all of the desired information detail
  • Operational reporting experiences relative to OLAs and/or SLAs desired
  • Prior vendor management experiences of value
  • Prior experience leading teams in a SaaS oriented business knowledge of Service & Change Management principles (ITIL Framework)
