About The Position:

The Vice President of Beacon Care Services (VPBCS) will lead the Company’s efforts to develop and grow our new provider business.  Beacon Care Services is Beacon Health Option’s new behavioral health provider arm. He or she is accountable for driving the strategic vision, developing critical external partnerships, and executing on the growth plan.  The VPBCS is also responsible for overseeing day-to-day operations in conjunction with our clinical leadership team.  We are looking for a leader who is a self-starter, entrepreneurial, and passionate about healthcare innovation and patient care.   

Position Responsibilities:

This leader is responsible for delivering on growth targets and maintaining operational excellence for Beacon Care Services, including:

  • Working with key executive leaders to define near-term and long-term strategy for Beacon Care Services, including business model design, profitability, scaling and go-to-market stategy
  • Ownership of P+L, financial model and projections, as well as adherence to budget
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key external partners
  • Build out a pipeline for new partnership opportunities
  • Lead product design efforts with a cross-functional team of clinical, marketing, finance, IT, legal, and operational experts
  • Oversee design of clinical and non-clinical operational workflows to scale the business
  • Monitor operational and clinical metrics on a regular basis and convene experts to make process, pricing, go-to-market adjustments where needed
  • Work closely with Clinical leadership to maintain superior clinical quality of the services provided
  • Represent Beacon Care Services as “product” leader for Beacon Care Services’ managed care clients and support sales process

Position Requirements:

  • Education: Master’s degree or higher
  • Relevant Work Experience: 8-10 years’ experience within as a proven operational leader

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities: 

  • Excellent written, oral, and presentation skills
  • Effective leadership and analytical skills, including network management
  • Exceptional ability to develop and manage results-oriented recruiting and training programs
  • Strong mentoring and relationship building skills with ability to effectively manage large groups
  • Computer Skills: Microsoft Outlook and Word with Excel skills
  • Proven experience leading teams through periods of significant growth or change
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills to lead and motivate a growing and changing service operation; able to engage with directors and managers at all levels across the business to achieve goals and objectives​
