ABOUT THE POSITION

We are currently seeking a dynamic Talent Acquisition Coordinator to join our team at our office in Rocky Hill, CT.  The TA Coordinator provides operational, administrative and solution-focused customer service to internal and external customers (HR/TA teammates, hiring managers and applicants). 

Position Responsibilities:

  • Provides daily operational and administrative support to the Talent Acquisition Team to support employee recruitment and onboarding.
  • Oversee and manage the pre-employment and onboarding activities of assigned new hires.
  • Assist with maintenance of job posting, candidate records, reporting, interviewing and other recruitment-related activities.
  • Handles inquiries from applicants and new hires.  Performs basic research in order to address questions and, as needed, refers individual to the appropriate person or online resource.
  • Coordinate completion of the I-9 document and e-Verify process.
  • Supports recruiting technology needs by fielding, tracking and resolving daily system and user issues.    Assist with system training.  
  • Identifies opportunities for system improvements and process enhancements.
  • Assist with processing invoices for background screening, drug screening, job advertisements, etc.
  • Builds partnerships with HR/TA staff and business leaders in order to support hiring needs.
  • Will strive to become a back-up subject matter expert for one or more TA systems, processes or projects; to include Applicant Tracking Systems, Background Screening, Drug Screening, Advertising/Branding, Reporting, Implementation/Project-based Recruitment, vendor management.
  • Provides project support on key team priorities and initiatives, as needed.  This can include running reports and conducting simple data analysis using multiple data points, as needed.
  • Ensures compliance with regulations relating to talent acquisitions; including OFCCP, EEO and state regulations.
  • In partnership with leadership, establishes personal and professional development plan to enhance HR knowledge and skills, improved capabilities and broader exposure to assignments in order to identify career path and developmental needs to achieve success in role and opportunities for growth.
  • Performs special projects, actively participates in HR/TA initiatives and performs other duties as assigned.

Position Requirements:

Education : High school diploma required.  Associate or Bachelor’s Degree preferred.

Licensure :  None required

Relevant Work Experience:    Minimum of 2 years in a Human Resources/Talent Acquisition support role preferred.   Prior experience with applicant tracking systems and other HR and online based systems required.   Experience working in a fast-paced, deadline driven environment.
