About the Position:

The Sr. Vice President of Marketing has responsibility for the strategic and tactical execution of all aspects for corporate marketing including: Developing and implementing a cohesive marking plan utilizing innovative tactics to achieving organizational goals, build the Beacon Health Options brand, and increase awareness of our products and services; Ensuring consistency in all marketing and communications activities across the organization as it relates Beacon Health Options’ strategic vision and values; Aligning the organization internally around the Beacon Health Options brand and marketing objectives; Setting and achieving short and long-term goals across the entire marketing and communications team; Overseeing and managing the organization’s marking budget.

Position Responsibilities:

Planning and Strategy:

  • Lead strategic planning, including corporate positioning, market and competitive analysis, customer segment selection and penetration plans, and product positioning
  • Development of Beacon Health Options’ positioning and marketing strategy that includes targets for company success and value
  • Oversee marketing communications including branding, public relations, advertising, social media, thought leadership content, and event strategy
  • Partner with Product Development to plan for and execute new product launches

Brand Development:

  • Collaborate with Beacon Health Options leadership and marketing communications staff to define and communicate branding and vision
  • Position Beacon Health Options as an industry leader among key audiences, including customers, prospects, analysts, and business partners
  • Coordinate with the product development and business development teams to develop and manage channel and partner strategies and programs for all current and future products
  • Interface with marketing communications department leaders to define and direct marketing programs for demand creation and lead generation

Awareness Building:

  • Execute internal and external communication strategy to promote Beacon Health Options’ products and services and encourage rapid customer and market acceptance
  • Ensure employees understand Beacon Health Options’ brand and values through internal communications
  • Define plans to maximize shareholder value as it relates to our strategic vision
  • Ensure new product launches are integrated with and support Beacon brand and messaging

Social Media and Online Presence:

  • Lead marketing communications team to create best in class social media presence in alignment with the Beacon Health Options brand and strategic vision
  • Oversee website design and content creation, as well as perform regular analysis of online presence and market dynamics

Department Leadership:

  • Manage all departments within the marketing communications team in a climate of growth and technology change
  • Research and track state of the art market factors as it relates to industry and technology trends
  • Mobilize communications team to be effective, efficient, and flexible while measuring results in alignment with department goals
  • Serve as a role model for the company culture

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Proven ability to achieve measurable results across a large number of projects within budget and on tight timelines
  • Superior knowledge of all areas of marketing and marketing communications including business plan development
  • Proven ability to take product/​service (as well as new market development) from concept to implementation
  • Proven track record in leading the creation and execution of marketing initiatives
  • Results oriented
  • Sense of urgency in solving problems and comfortable with a fast-paced, demanding environment
  • Sound data analysis and decision-making capabilities
  • Strong presentation skills
  • Strong writing and verbal communications skills
  • Demonstrate proficiency in time and project management
  • Ability to effectively communicate with and sell to c-level executives
  • Strong leadership skills
  • Successful track record as senior marketing executive

Position Requirements:

  • Education: Master’s Level Required
  • Relevant Work Experience:  10+ years in marketing field. Proven work experience at a VP level or another senior marking role. Experience in design and implementation of successful marketing campaigns
