We are currently seeking a dynamic REGIONAL CHIEF PARTNERSHIP OFFICER to join our team at our office in BOSTON, MA.  The Regional CPO will delight existing customers and deliver agreed-upon annual EBITDA growth through acquisition of new clients and capture of upsell opportunities with existing clients in region. Accountable for delivering profitable top line growth for the region by driving new sales, upselling existing clients, and deepening the client relationship. The RCPO must set the strategic vision for growth, and develop a strong pipeline and sales roadmap that will fulfill growth objectives. This role is a critical client-facing leader, and must play a key role in engaging with prospective clients to drive new client acquisition as well as growing business with existing clients in accordance with strategic account plans. Customer retention is a top priority for the RCPO, who must ensure efficient cross-functional collaboration with the client operations teams to meet client needs. The RCPO reports directly to the regional Market President. Direct reports to the Regional CPO include Sales, Government Affairs, Account Executives, and market strategy The Regional CPO needs to quickly build their team and ensure client relationship continuity through this time of organizational transformation. This will require open dialogue with cross-functional stakeholders, as well as strong accountability for growth targets.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Achieve 95%+ client retention year-over-year

  • Grow regional EBITDA by defined percent and/or dollar amount as agreed upon between CEO, Market President and CFO

  • Manage a sales and account team to generate a growth pipeline that consistently delivers $10-20M per year in gross margin (depending on region)

  • Manage a team of Account Executives to develop account plans for each client by January 1st of each year with first-year account plans delivered by September 1, 2017

  • Meet operational expense target each year

  • RCPO and team will direct 100% of incoming client operational issues and questions to the Regional COO and the appropriate Operations Pod

  • Partner with the Market President and RCFO to develop regional growth strategy by September 1st each year for the following years’ budget planning that contributes to the annual budgeting process and development of an actionable 5-year plan

  • Develop inputs to corporate product development process

  • Collaborate with other RCPOs to share best practices and ensure consistency of operating model delivery

  • Hire (internally and externally) and develop a high-performing regional strategy and development leadership team that is incentivized against regional growth targets

  • The RCPO will coordinate closely with the other regional leaders to help drive the region forward.

  • The teams supporting the RCOO and RCPO, as the two client-facing teams, will need to build camaraderie and collaboration techniques to effectively manage each client relationship together.

  • The RCPO and his/her team will coordinate with corporate teams including strategy, product development, proposal and communications to provide the key ingredients to allow for delighted customers and profitable growth in the region.

Position Requirements:

Education: Bachelor’s degree and advanced degree required (MBA preferred)

Relevant Work Experience:  10 + years’ experience in Executive Leadership and Organizational Growth.
