Job Description


The Supervisor of Network Operations is responsible for leading a team of Network Operations Representatives, providing day to day supervision, guidance and support. The incumbent is responsible for the oversight and distribution of work amongst the staff.  Monitoring all work queues and silos to ensure that all internal and external production standards are met or exceeded. This individual is responsible for hiring all staff and for their development; providing feedback on their performance, including coaching and implementing performance improvement plans when necessary. The supervisor works with the Team Leads to develop training materials and Policies and Procedures.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for understanding and communicating client performance guarantees and internal standards to staff.
  • Review daily, weekly, monthly management reports to ensure standards are met.
  • Work with Team Lead(s) on daily basis to ensure processor assignments are appropriately aligned with goals.
  • Develop and implement action plans for improvement where necessary.  Evaluate and control workflow within the team.
  • Work with Team Lead(s) to develop training programs to address specific individual and team needs to enhance skills.
  • Continually assess the processes, looking for improvements in streamlined workflows or system enhancements, and implement any that show an ROI.
  • Participate in client implementations and other special projects as assigned.
  • Contribute to a team environment by maintaining good interpersonal skills related to peers and management and demonstrate flexibility and support in meeting departmental goals.
  • Monitor TAT, receipts, and follow through of all functions.
  • Provide staff support including:
    • Mentoring/coaching
    • Performance Monitoring
    • Performance Appraisals
    • Performance Improvement Plans
    • Time sheets and leave requests
    • Ensure that the staff receives training and remedial training as needed for all job functions associated with their positions
    • Uphold and enforce all HR policies
    • Ensure that the work environment is safe, comfortable and productive
    • Ensure that Management policies are communicated, understood and upheld
    • Provide Technical support
  • Perform other job related duties as dictated by business needs.

Position Requirements:

Education: A High School/GED Diploma is required.  A Bachelor’s Degree is preferred.

Relevant Work Experience: Two to four years of experience in health care/health insurance, in a provider setting, is preferred. Strong leadership skills, past management experience preferred.  Proficient computer skills with knowledge of Excel, Word, Access, PowerPoint and Intranet applications is required.
