Job Description


We are currently seeking a dynamic Clinical Services Supervisor to join our team at our office in Morrisville, NC.  The Clinical Services Supervisor will be responsible for daily functioning of the clinical team in delivery of EAP and mental health services according to the policies and procedures of the Clinical and EAP departments or client contract. Knowledge of Employee Assistance Programs and managed behavioral healthcare is required.  Previous call center experience preferred.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Continuous operational oversight and management of  delivery of EAP and mental health services to client companies of service center
  • Responsibilities for the EAP and behavioral health programs will involve quality assurance, working with managers, building associate participation, and ensuring compliance with all Corporate, governmental, and professional standards
  • Working with the EAP vendors, the onsite clinics, client company human resources teams, and union representatives assure access to the wide variety of behavioral health initiatives that impact associate health, safety and productivity.
  • Maintain schedules of coverage and quality of work to ensure most effective and efficient response to call demand, hiring, and review of time and attendance
  • Monitor real time and historical telephone statistical data for staff
  • Day-to-day involvement in triage and referral activities.
  • Investigate complaints and provide guidance to staff clinicians regarding client company nuances.
  • Resolve issues with client companies under direction of Clinical Director.
  • This position will also be important in assisting when critical incidents occur.

Position Requirements:

Education: Master’s degree in mental health related discipline required.

  • Licensure: Current, valid and unrestricted license in a State or territory of the United States in a mental health field (RN, Ph.D., LCSW/ACSW/LMSW, LLP, MHC, LPC, etc.).  Current licensure must be maintained in the state where employed.  Additionally, some client contracts will also require current licensure in the state in which their membership or consumer base resides.
  • Relevant Work Experience:  5 years direct practice experience in psychiatric or substance abuse treatment; 2+ years of supervisor experience; and knowledge of EAP and managed behavioral healthcare. Experience in settings that include inpatient, partial, and/or outpatient care and previous call center experience preferred.

  • Adheres to the components of the Compliance Program.
  • Ensures that job tasks are performed in a legal and ethical manner.
  • Actively assesses work area for non-compliance issues and notifies supervisor or calls Ethics Hotline.
  • Adheres to compliance training requirements and understands that training is required condition of employment. 
  • Participates in corporate and local quality and utilization management programs as
