ABOUT THE POSITION

We are currently seeking a dynamic EAP Clinical Supervisor to join our team at Beacon Health Options. This is a remote position with preference to the Puget Sound area of Washington State.  The EAP Clinical Supervisor is responsible for organizing and coordinating the Employee Assistance Program (EAP) services provided by Beacon Health Options Employees and Contractor Individuals serving as EAP Onsite Counselors for Client Company.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Provides clinical and administrative supervision to the Client Company Onsite EAP Counselors. Consults with the Onsite EAP Counselors on complex EAP cases as needed.
  • Recruits, hires and oversees training of new Onsite EAP Counselors
  • Coordinates and leads regular Onsite EAP Counselor meetings, both clinical and administrative
  • Reviews case management and productivity data for each Onsite EAP Counselor. Tracks the work flow and volume of Onsite EAP Counselors to ensure optimum productivity and performance. Evaluates progress towards meeting standards for EAP Onsite Counselors.
  • Coordinates training and Critical Incident Stress Debriefing (CISD) requests  provided by Onsite EAP Counselors as needed
  • May provide direct EAP case services, crisis intervention services, supervisor consultation services and workgroup trainings as needed.
  • Maintains and strictly adheres to all legal, ethical and professional confidentiality standards and abides by HIPAA regulations
  • Assists the Beacon Sr. Account Executive/ Account Director with preparation and presentation of EAP reports.
  • Evaluates the performance of Onsite EAP Counselors. Provides clinical quality assurance and evaluation.
  • Provides back-up coverage for Onsite EAP Counselors as needed.
  • Participates in the recruitment and supervision of Beacon employees providing onsite EAP administrative services.
  • Coordinates with the Beacon Health Performance Solutions Director regarding workflow, audits and personnel matters as needed
  • Provides interface with other Beacon staff at as needed.
  • Participates in essential Client Company/Beacon  administrative meetings
  • Provides interface with Client Company Depts., e.g. Security, Health Services, Human Resources.

  Position Requirements:

  • Education: Master’s and/or doctorate degree in a clinical mental health field from an accredited college or university. 
  • Licensure: Active professional license from his or her state of residence (i.e. Licensed Mental Health Counselor, Clinical Social Worker, Marriage and Family Therapist, or Psychologist).  

Years and Type of Relevant Work Experience: 

  • Minimum five (5) years psychiatric/substance abuse treatment experience.
  • Minimum three (3) years EAP clinical and administrative supervisory experience, preferably in internal or onsite EAPs.
  • Certified Employee Assistance Professional (CEAP) or CEAP-eligible.
