Beacon is currently seeking a ServiceNow Systems Administrator to join our team at any of our US offices.

The ServiceNow Administrator / Developer will work with a cross-functional team to manage the configuration, implementation and maintenance of Beacon’s Service Now system. The ServiceNow Administrator will manage workflows, user roles and access, integrations, and will implement and drive automation in the system.

What does a typical day look like?

  • Oversee, configure and implement architectural solutions in ServiceNow to meet business needs
  • Perform day to day support, administration and maintenance of the ServiceNow platform
  • Work closely with the Beacon IT team and business users to build requested items and tasks using workflows to manage processes from the customer to the fulfillment teams
  • Maintain the long-term vision of solutions on the ServiceNow platform
  • Work directly with end users to resolve support issues within ServiceNow
  • Monitor system stability and performance metrics to prevent service degradation or interruption
  • Identify opportunities for and implement service improvements across all functional areas (e.g. – training, knowledge management, documentation, service desk processes)
  • Develop systems integrations and process automation
  • Perform installation and testing of ServiceNow updates and new releases
  • Is the lead technical resource at Beacon for ServiceNow
  • Develop clear and concise technical and process documentation
  • Maintain expert knowledge on the ServiceNow platform, technical services and utilities
  • Manage ServiceNow version updates and new releases which includes testing, documentation, analysis of new functionality and implementation of the release across TEST and PROD regions.
  • Provide mentoring and training to peers within IT

What you Contribute?

Education:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required

Licensure:

  • ServiceNow System Administration Certification required
  • ITIL v3 Foundation Certification, preferred
  • ServiceNow Web technologies (JavaScript, XML, HTML, etc.) experience, preferred
  • ServiceNow Discovery and Orchestration experience, preferred

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

  • 2+ years of ServiceNow administration experience in an enterprise environment
  • 2+ years of experience with ServiceNow integrations
  • 2+ years of experience in ServiceNow development
