We are currently seeking a dynamic REGIONAL DIRECTOR KNOWLEDGE MANAGEMENT AND REPORTING to join our team at Beacon Health Options.  The Regional Director of Knowledge Management and Reporting is primarily responsible for providing leadership and oversight of the KM&R team within an assigned region which includes SQL Developers and Healthcare Analysts. The Regional Director is responsible for fostering a team environment while driving proactive development of new and innovative solutions for our customers and business in a specific region.  Additionally, the Regional Director is responsible for developing and managing relationships with internal and external stakeholders.  The Regional Director is also responsible for overseeing the operations of the Knowledge Management and Reporting team in the assigned region(s).

Position Responsibilities:

  1. Be the single point of contact for the KM&R staff for the region

  2. Work collaboratively with the business lead designated by the region

  3. Manage the prioritization process for the region

  4. Load balance work across the region.

  5. Provide leadership for all department functions to ensure all deliverables are met

  6. Work collaboratively with operational leaders and account management to enhance and optimize reporting processes

  7. Develop and maintain policies and procedures for superior delivery of services

  8. Lead team on all initiatives to ensure specific milestones and project deliverables are completed within their allotted timeframes

  9. Responsible for resource allocation and management of department objectives

  10. Interface with all levels of staff in the organization to understand and manage expectations

  11. Analyze data to identify key issues, trends, and potential root cause to assist operational teams in managing business

  12. Mentor staff to ensure employee skills are aligned with roles and responsibilities

  13. Engage with business leaders to drive adoption of reporting products

  14. Assist executive leadership in the development and definition of reporting solutions to drive strategic initiatives

  15. Promote and implement departmental and organizational strategic initiatives

  16. Performs special projects and other duties as assigned and required

    Position Requirements:

Education: Bachelor’s Degree in computer science, business systems administration or related field is required.  Master’s Degree preferred.

Relevant Work Experience: 

  • Seven years combined experience as a SQL Developer, Business Analyst, or Manager in a healthcare setting

  • Four years of direct staff supervision required

  • Four years of experience managing reporting projects

  • Four years of client management experience

    Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

  • Managed care experience preferred, preferably in an MBHO

  • Experience with Oracle or Microsoft SQL Server; ETL and Data Architecture

  • Experience writing functional and technical specifications

  • Experience with data analysis and statistical methods
