ABOUT THE POSITION:

We are currently seeking a dynamic Quality Analyst to join our Latham or Manhattan, NYC office.The Quality Analyst is responsible for providing analytical and technical support to the Quality Management Department. Assures NCQA and Beacon Health Options quality standards are met by coordinating, monitoring, and reporting Quality Improvement Activities (QIA) and providing statistical support. Performs other duties related to statistical analysis and accreditation activity requirements as indicated.  Ensures timely delivery of client reports and performance measures. 

Responsibilities:

  • Participates in Quality Improvement Activities development and collects data for quality improvement activities using various data sources. Develops ongoing report specifications and generates appropriate reports as indicated.
  • Designs strategies for quality initiatives and evaluates outcomes to include data collection, analysis, conclusions and recommendations.
  • Designs strategies for quality initiatives and evaluates outcomes to include: data collection, analysis, conclusions and recommendations
  • Evaluates quality performance measures and proposes recommendations as applicable.
  • Provides support for accreditation survey preparation.
  • Monitors and analyzes performance through data collection, tracking and analysis.  Identify improvement opportunities and recommend quality improvement activities.     
  • Participates on engagement center-wide quality improvement activities and other inter-departmental committees.
  • Assists with special projects and other duties assigned by management.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree required preferably with a focus in healthcare, health administration, statistics, data analysis, or a related field.  Masters preferred.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years’ experience with data analysis and statistical principles required, preferably in a health care field.  Experience in managed care with a working knowledge of NCQA, URAC, or JCAHO standards preferred.
  • High level of proficiency working with MS Excel
  • Understanding of relational database administration
