ABOUT THE POSITION

We are currently seeking a dynamic Program Director to join our team at our office in Colorado Springs, CO.  The Program Director is responsible for the overall contractual, compliance and operational management of the Colorado Crisis Services Program – Regions 2, 4 and 7.  

Position Responsibilities:

The main responsibilities of the Program Director will include:

•     Oversees all operations of the Crisis Services Program

  • Provide day to day operational and program management leadership

  • Direct supervision of Crisis Services staff and management team

•     Actively engage all supporting service center and facility-based staff necessary to achieve

contractual and strategic goals for CDHS

•     Work closely with Clinical Management and Quality Management and Improvement on all

NCQA/URAC initiatives

•     Serve as behavioral health SME for health plan partner

•     Ensure client contract satisfaction by ensuring compliance with all delegated contract and

regulatory requirements

•     Attendance at relevant client and external meetings as necessary to deliver exceptional

customer service and to execute on defined strategic goals.

•     Responsible for ensuring all contractual reporting requirements as outlined in delegation

agreements on behalf of the program and state.

•     Oversee comprehensive reporting and analysis of program utilization, cost, quality and related performance indicators.

  • Ability to interpret financial and clinical data analysis and ability to draw out salient

information and capture through reporting required

  • Support analysis of program utilization, cost, quality and related performance indicators

  • Prepare and deliver materials and professional quality presentations to customers

•     Provide leadership of behavioral health benefits of managed care program 

•     Represent Beacon at relevant client and external meetings as necessary to deliver exceptional

customer service and to execute on defined strategic goals

•     In conjunction with the VP of Client Partnerships, define and execute on strategic goals for

Colorado Crisis Services, ensuring contractual, regulatory and delegation agreement

compliance.

•     20-25% travel

  • Other duties as assigned

Position Requirements:

Education: Either Master’s degree or higher

Relevant Work Experience:  4-5 years of behavioral health managed care experience (e.g. managed behavioral health or health plan) required. Experience and knowledge of accreditation frameworks such as NCQA, URAC preferred but not required.  Knowledge of Medicare and Medicaid (Crisis Services a plus)

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

  • Microsoft Office products fluency

  • Analytical and problem solving ability

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
