ABOUT THE POSITION:

The Network Contracting Coordinator will be accountable for various duties to support the new provider enrollment process for the Network Contracting department.  It is a goal of Beacon’s to respond in a timely manner to requests from individual and facility providers who wish to join our networks.  The Network Contracting Coordinator will be the first and last point of contact with that process and will be accountable for screening the requests right through to welcoming the provider to Beacon networks to treat our members.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Handle the enrollment requests from providers who want to join Beacon Networks
  • Assess Network Panels to determine if network is accepting new providers
  • Data entry of provider information to Beacon systems
  • Update workflow systems to reflect current status of provider enrollment
  • Send appropriate contracts and fee schedules to providers
  • Secure completed contracts and credentialing materials from providers
  • Respond to provider and internal stakeholder inquiries about the enrollment process
  • Send Welcome Packets to providers upon completion of enrollment process
  • Other duties as assigned to support the network contracting department

  • Professional demeanor with strong written and oral communication skills

  • Important emphasis on collaboration with a team-oriented work philosophy

Position Requirements:

  • Education: High school or Equivalent required, College degree preferred
  • Relevant Work Experience: 2+ years’ experience in a business setting.  Experience working in a behavioral healthcare business environment a plus.  Demonstrated experience working in an operational environment.  Data entry experience required.
