Job Description


We are currently seeking a dynamic MCPAP PROGRAM MANAGER to join our team at our office in Boston, MA.  The Massachusetts Child Psychiatry Access Program Manager will oversee all contracts for seven regional MCPAP sites at academic centers and three regional sites for MCPAP for Moms.  Ensures compliance with contract regulations and performs site visits, monitors productivity, utilization, follow up, and adherence to program requirements.  Reviews data from analytic reports, and follows up with the MCPAP regional hubs accordingly.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Manages MCPAP and MCPAP for Moms contracts.
  • Develops strength-based relationships with contracted MCPAP staff, administration, ACO contacts, and practices.
  • Provides leadership sets agendas and organizes MCPAP telephone meetings and site visits to maintain integrity of MCPAP program.  Develops policies and procedures as needed.
  • Monitors budget to maintain MCPAP financial integrity.
  • Works with reporting and IT departments to assure reporting deliverables met including any required qualitative comments.
  • Supervises MCPAP Program Coordinator.
  • Coordinates production of MCPAP newsletter including developing content ideas, managing newsletter writers, and being able to write articles regarding MCPAP’s innovative projects.
  • Manages updating of website and other MCPAP materials.
  • Delivers talks/lectures regarding MCPAP programs and their results.
  • Identifies areas for program quality improvements, and implements changes to facilitate these improvements.
  • Responds to requests from DMH for information about program.  Along with leadership of MCPAP meets on regular basis with DMH to monitor, program.
  • Works with Director, Medical Director Special Projects, DMH, and key informant group to formulate a strategy to increase MCPAP utilization and market penetration.
  • Manage production of annual patient experience surveys.
  • Work with MCPAP regional hub staff, substance use consultants, and others to better improve adolescent substance use treatment in primary care across the state.

Position Requirements:

  • : Master’s Degree in behavioral health, medical, or health administrative field or equivalent experience.Excellent verbal communication and speaking skills
  • Excellent writing skills
  • Leadership and strategic planning
  • Sufficient computer skills to manage projects including at least Excel, Word, and experience with project management software.
  • Experience managing project budgets.
  • Must have car and be willing to travel across the state
