About The Position:

The Manager of RXSolve Program Operations provides operational expertise to the department to ensure RXSolve meets contractual requirements of RXSolve clients including timeliness and accuracy of program output including member and provider interventions through letters and phone calls.  Interfaces directly with administrative and clinical staff to ensure timely and effective communication and hand-offs across staff who will perform outreach to members and providers to meet the goals of Beacon’s pharmacy management program.  Supports the Assistant Director and Director to ensure client satisfaction, retention, and implementation of new clients. He/she will direct oversight and management of the RXSolve Operations team. Interdepartmental coordination and vendor oversight.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Provides operational support to the RXSolve department, serves as an expert resource, and facilitates operational coordination across Regional clinical teams. Takes the lead in problem identification, and manages cross-functional resources and teams toward complex problem resolution.
  • Develops management tools to collect data, support review of contract requirements, monitors compliance with performance standards, evaluates opportunities to improve department operations, and to assure provision of excellence in customer service.
  • Provides vendor oversight to ensure vendor delivers on their obligations; manages shared issue tracking and resolution and meets with vendor regularly to review reporting and status of issues, as applicable.
  • Acts as Project Manager to RXSolve's program development and operational cross-department initiatives. Also acts as RXSolve SME to cross-departmental and cross-organizational project teams.
  • Identifies tracks and monitors staff training opportunities.
  • Manages special projects and other duties as assigned and required.
  • The Manager is expected to manage daily operations with a high level of independence.

Position Requirements:

  • Education:  Bachelor's degree in clinical area of study or related field. 

Relevant Work Experience: 

  • A minimum of 3 years’ experience in program/project management, account management and operations is required. Experience in healthcare or managed care preferred. Bachelors or masters level degree in health care administration, public health policy and/or business administration is preferred. Associates, bachelors, or master’s degree in clinical area of study is a plus. Relational DB experience, Oracle or MSFT preferred.
  • behavioral healthcare operations experience.  Demonstrated skill in a matrix-management environment.  Must be detail-oriented, able to work independently in a fast-paced environment, able to handle multiple tasks in an efficient manner and have proven excellent analytic, communication, and organizational skills. 
  • Experience working in a matrix-management environment using an actionable work plan with project management experience preferred. Must be detail-oriented, able to work independently and on a team and handle multiple tasks in an efficient manner, in a busy environment. Strong analytic and communication skills required.
  • Experience in managing staff for improved performance through effective team building and mentoring while producing deliverables on a timely basis.
  • Experience in working in an environment with data-based products or services; unfamiliar processes and technologies; and the ability to learn and organize process flow effectively.
  • Extensive experience with Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and Access required. File management and network computer skills also required. Experience with client management systems, process flow development, continued quality improvement processes is preferred.
