The Healthcare Leadership Development Program is a summer internship aimed at providing graduate students with an experience that will enrich their understanding of the challenges and complexities of healthcare service delivery. Students will have access to senior management along with executive visibility and direct supervisory support to offer guidance and feedback. The program will take place in our Boston, MA corporate headquarters with potential full-time placements across the country.


We are currently seeking a dynamic Human Resources Summer Intern to join our team at our office in Boston, MA.  The HR Intern will have the opportunity to collaborate with a variety of HR Centers of Excellence within our organization.

The ten week summer internship will start in June 2019.

We are looking for graduate-level students focusing on Human Resources Management or Organizational Development.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Support and manage projects with a variety of teams including Talent Acquisition, Talent Management (Learning & Development), Total Rewards, Employee Relations and HR Business Partnerships.
  • Play a key role in driving strategic company initiatives
  • Potential projects can include:
    • Leading talent management related activities
    • Identifying opportunities for consistency, process improvement and technology implementation across HR Functions
    • Assisting with enhancing learning management system and training opportunities
    • Supporting building and analyzing metrics and dashboards
    • Building and launch recruiting success/satisfaction surveys
    • Assisting with developing employment brand and increasing social media presence
    • Exploring how AI can assist with the recruitment and employment process

Position Requirements:

Education : Current enrollment in graduate program.  Focus on Human Resources Management, Organizational Leadership, Business Administration or similar preferred.

Licensure :  None required

Relevant Work Experience :  3-5 years of experience in human resources, talent acquisition or talent management preferred

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities :

  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and deliver results in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication skills – written and verbal.
  • Ability to partner with cross-functional teams as well as work independently.
  • Possess a significant sense of curiosity and drive to learn and problem-solve with creative solutions.
  • Proficient with Microsoft and web-based programs and applications.
