About the Position:

We are currently seeking a dynamic EDI Quality Assurance Analyst to join our team in Latham, NY! The Quality Assurance Analyst position is responsible for auditing, training, documenting, and looking for areas of improvement for the EDI Operations team. Auditing includes both pre and post implementation activities for both production support staff and BSA staff for all Beacon claims systems. This position will be responsible for learning and documenting all processes as well as training staff.

This individual must possess the necessary skill set to function independently in most situations and must have strong organizational skills and be able to multi task. He/she must possess excellent communication skills and is expected to take the initiative to provide creative solutions to continually improve processes.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Perform audits for all production staff in accordance with departmental guidelines
  • Ensure that department guidelines are compliant with established SOC controls
  • Provide feedback to the staff and the management team regarding audit results and trends identified
  • Develop and maintain training documentation and workflows to maximize operating efficiency.
  • Perform quality check of clients to ensure that all supporting documentation is accurate (i.e. specifications, client profiles, GRF’s).
  • Review, evaluate, and modify existing policies and procedures while maintaining a historical tracking of policy changes.
  • Maintain effective SharePoint sites that are organized and contain documents that are beneficial to the staff.
  • Investigate and recommend opportunities for improvements and operational efficiencies. Integrate new technologies, policies or workflows that prove to enhance the process
  • Provide training to new staff and remedial training to existing staff.
  • Perform other job related duties as dictated by business needs.

Position Requirements:

  • Education: Associates Degree or two years related experience is required, Bachelor's Degree preferred.
  • Relevant Work Experience: 2 - 4 years related work experience is required, health insurance experience is preferred.
