About The Position:

We are currently seeking a dynamic Director of Reporting & Analytics to join our team at our office in Colorado Springs Office. The Director of Reporting & Analytics Plans, organizes, and directs the reporting and business systems information analysis department. External clients vary throughout the state of Colorado and internal clients include utilization management, member and provider service, quality and senior management. Duties include implementation management, production systems enhancements and changes, reporting and analysis, as well as retaining expert knowledge of and business support to all business intelligence and other reporting software

Position Responsibilities:

  • Determines specific information and reporting technology requirements of management and prepares plans and budgets for implementation, production, and operations
  • Works with Business Systems Support to develop and implement end user reports and business intelligence solutions for the Partnership Develops desktop and WEB based applications that support the information needs of the Partnership
  • Works with the corporate information systems staff to develop long-term strategic plans and to maximize and leverage the information resources for Beacon Health Options
  • Manages departmental operations to support all of the Colorado contract’s internal and external reporting and analytic requirements, including specific monthly, quarterly, semi-annual, annual and ad hoc contract deliverables for the client, analytic support for annual Performance Incentive Projects that require such support, and other internal routine and critical data requests
  • Participates in strategic planning with the Vice President of Data Management and Analyst and the Chief Administrative Officer for the Colorado contracts on the overall direction of the contract systems and software applications

Position Requirements:

  • Education: Bachelor’s Degree in general business administration or related field is preferred. Master’s level preparation preferred
  • Relevant Work Experience: At least 8 year’s progressively more responsible experience in reporting and analytics setting. Experience should include direct management of supervisory, administrative, and technical staff in a business systems environmentA contemporary knowledge of computer hardware and processing software applications and the ability to understand complex processing systems and the integration of technology applications is essential. At least 5 years’ experience in a managed care setting is preferred Behavioral health experience a plus. Experience working in the Public Sector helpful.
