Job Description


We are currently seeking a team of dynamic Customer Service Reps II to join our team at our office in Roseland, NJ.  The Customer Service Reps will be responsible for responding, researching, and investigating telephonic and written inquiries from both providers and members about benefits, eligibility, authorization, claims status, and other administrative issues.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Answer customer questions regarding claims, benefits, eligibility, etc.
  • Follow up on inquiries as needed.
  • Return calls to customers with appropriate response to inquiries.
  • Pro-actively identifies and reports departmental, interdepartmental, and organizational issues that affect Member and Provider Customer Service.
  • Interfaces with various internal departments to assist the caller in issues such as claim payments, claim denials, claim adjustments, eligibility, provider agreements, demographic changes, and appeals

Position Requirements:

Education: High School diploma or equivalent required, some college preferred.  

Licensure:  None required

Relevant Work Experience:   One or more years in a /customer service position, preferably in a call center.  

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills required. 
  • Telephone service skills preferred.
  • Good typing, data entry skills and computer proficiency is required. 
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to maintain a professional demeanor during crisis situations, and to maintain positive working relationships with clients, providers, members and co-workers.
  • Thorough knowledge of security enhancement/monitoring products for PC and laptop environment.
