Beacon is currently seeking an Integrated Family Care and Support (IFCS) Program Administrative Liaison to join our team at our Rocky Hill, CT office. This position will be responsible for providing support to families referred by the Department of Children and Families (DCF). The program works with families through a family-driven, strength-based, culturally and linguistically responsive model. The program supports families in developing solutions, identify an array community resources based on their need, and promotes permanent connections for the family. The IFCS Administrative Liaison will work closely with the IFCS Clinical Supervisor assisting with all clinical and administrative management needs to support the IFCS program. 

What does a typical day look like?

  • Monitors and reviews IFCS referrals; ensuring all information received is accurate and complete before sending referral to IFCS Clinical Supervisor to be assigned.
  • Reviews activities documented in multiple internal and external systems utilized by the IFCS Program staff to ensure program indicators such as case assignment, case notes, releases of information, and collateral contact information are uploaded and documented in the system.
  • Supports administration of surveys to members through direct contact and data entry.
  • Assists IFCS Clinical Supervisor with all clinical and administrative management needs such as taking minutes, creating agendas, making copies, scanning documents, reserving conference rooms, and ordering supplies as requested to support the IFCS program.
  • Participates in all training modules including coaching and mentoring activities required based on the needs and demands of the program.

What you Contribute?

Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Human Services or related field required.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

  • A minimum of one (1) year experience in child welfare, behavioral health or substance abuse field providing administrative support services.
  • Have strong oral and written communication skills and the ability to organize and implement action.
  • Excellent computer skills required.
  • Bilingual speaker (Spanish/English) preferred
