Job Description


We are currently seeking a dynamic Community Benefits Enrollment Specialist to join our team at our office in Beaver Falls, PA.  The Community Benefits Enrollment Specialist serves as a resource to both consumers and staff at various agencies to assist with the application and maintenance of Medical Assistance benefits for consumers or mental health/drug and alcohol services who reside in Beaver County.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Meets with individuals in their homes, at provider agencies, and in the community to assist with the completion of paperwork and the gathering of information in order to provide the Department of Public Welfare (DPW) with the information necessary to make eligibility decisions. May be required to transport individuals with no other means of transportation to other locations to facilitate the application process.
  • Provides technical assistance to case mangers or staff at provider agencies when needed as to how to assist their consumers through this system.
  • Attends meetings and events as needed.
  • Frequent local travel within Beaver County required.

Position Requirements:

Education: High School diploma or equivalent preferred.

Relevant Work Experience:   Minimum of (1) year experience in a customer service or outreach related position. Knowledge of medical assistance program required.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

  • Must be open to a flexible schedule which accommodates the needs of the consumers.
  • Excellent communication skills required.
  • Frequent local travel required Valid PA Driver’s license and proof of insurance card required.
