ABOUT THE POSITION

We are currently seeking a dynamic Clinical Trainer to join our team at our office in Bellevue, WA. The Clinical Trainer provides training to Military OneSource staff regarding all components of the program, to include a thorough review of the program, and understanding of the various roles and responsibilities, conducting telephone assessments, collecting sufficient data to make appropriate referral and authorization decisions and handling crisis calls. Teaches how to evaluate clinical appropriateness of treatment using professional knowledge being certain to remain within scope based on the requirements of the Military OneSource contract and program.

Position Responsibilities:

•Work with management, supervisors and employees to gain knowledge of training needs and to better understand changes in policies, procedures, regulations, business initiatives and technologies.


• Formulate teaching outlines and determine instructional methods such as: individual training, group instruction, lectures, demonstrations, conferences, meetings and workshops.

•Write material for new training programs; review, evaluate, and modify existing and proposed programs; recommend appropriate changes.

•Select or develop teaching aids such as; training handbooks, demonstrations models, multimedia visual aids, computer tutorials, and reference books.

•Conduct training sessions covering specified areas such as; on-the-job training, refresher training, etc.

•Test trainees to measure progress and to evaluate the effectiveness of training. Report employee progress during training.

Position Requirements:

Education: Master’s Degree in the mental health profession required.

Licensures: Psychologist, LMSW, LPC, LMFT, or LCSW

Relevant Work Experience:

Three to five years’ experience in psychiatric and/or substance abuse treatment. One year experience in

a clinical care management environment. Experience in settings that include inpatient, partial, and/or

outpatient treatment and care management services in a behavioral case management organization

preferred. Experience as a CEAP or EAP internal/external consultant to a work site area preferred.

This contract requires U.S. Citizenship

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

•Microsoft Office 2007-2010/windows 2008-2010


•Leadership management experience is a must


•Excellent written and verbal communication skills


•Analytical and problem solving ability

•Group presentation and public speaking skills
