About the Position:

We are currently seeking a part-time Clinical Quality Management Specialist for our MVP team at our Latham, NY office! The QMS works under the direction of the Quality Director and serves as administrative support to the Quality Department.  In this role, this position assists in the coordination of all quality management activities.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Maintains a Quality Outcome dashboard which is reported regularly to the Service or Engagement Centers Quality Improvement Committee that monitors the effectiveness of performance measures.
  • Schedules Quality department meetings, assists in preparing agendas and obtaining and organizing documentation for the Service Center Quality Improvement Committee Meeting and the local Service or Engagement Center committees.
  • Responsible for minute taking, presenting to the Quality lead for review, and once approved distribution to committee members
  • Assists with the data entry of required monthly, quarterly, semi-annual, and annual reporting to ensure that the reports are complete, and submitted in a timely manner.
  • Maintains a log of required regular reporting both internal and externally to ensure deliverables meet time frames.
  • Assists in the preparation of materials including the annotation documents for client audits and accreditation reviews under the direction of the Quality lead.
  • Coordinates and/or assists in interdepartmental quality improvement activities
  • Performs other duties as assigned as needed by management

Position Requirements:

  • Education:   High School diploma or GED equivalent is required.
    • AAS degree and 4 years of experience or BS Degree in Health Care or related field is preferred
  • Relevant Work Experience: 1 year quality improvement experience in a managed healthcare or behavioral healthcare setting or a related position is preferred
