About The Position:

The Manager, Client Audits provides oversight of a team consisting of Auditor & Compliance Specialists.  This role will be actively involved with all Client Audits that involve Beacon Health Options Operations. Manager, Client Audits will work closely with various operational units, to ensure policies and procedures regarding internal Auditing are adhered to and produce documentation that will in the future become source material. This role will be the focal point for communication, both internally and externally, related to these topics. The ability to develop resources, create processes, identify opportunities for improvement and communicate information in a concise professional manner, will be key for a successful Manager, Client Audits.   

Position Responsibilities:

  • Oversight of logistical and administrative functions related to operational client audits. These can include Plan, State and/or Federal audits.
  • Assure all requests related to operational audits are responded to timely and completely
  • Develop a cadence for communication related to each audit, information needs to be frequent and detailed
  • Ability to serve as the voice of Beacon operational units, when needed for these external audits
  • Hire, develop and maintain a successful team
  • Identify any potential concerns timely and take the lead in developing solutions
  • Produces and maintains recurring reports that show beacon operational units audit status both specific to our plan customers and for the overall of operations.
  • Reviews results timely and come to independent conclusions that can be explained clearly and supported through data
  • Keeps management apprised of issues that may arise
  • Other job duties as assigned

Position Requirements:

  • Education: Bachelor’s Degree required

Relevant Work Experience:

  • 5 years’ work experience, including but not limited to Operational units
  • Must understand Behavioral Health Claims
  • Must understand standards of documentation usually associated with external audits, not limited to CMS or specific clients
  • High proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office applications (Specifically OneNote and SharePoint)
  • Excellent analytical skills
  • Able to communicate effectively with all levels of staff and customers​
