Position Responsibilities:

  • Train and guide staff on implementation of FBAs.
  • Review existing FBAs to identify any gaps in care and barriers to progression of identified goals.
  • Develop outcome measures to demonstrate effectiveness of behavioral treatment.
  • Provide support and guidance to existing team members at SSLC.
  • Identify system areas for improvement through positive behavior supports.
  • Attend team meetings as appropriate.
  • Integrate behavior goals in alignment with proposed Care Management Program goals.
  • Participate in quality improvement activities as needed.
  • Assist with special projects and administrative tasks as assigned.

Position Requirements:

Education: Minimum of a Master’s degree in a mental health field is required.

Licensure: Board Certified Behavior Analyst certification is required.

Relevant Work Experience: Possess at least one to two years’ experience providing the delivery of ABA services to persons with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Must have strong organizational skills and understanding of systems analysis.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

  • Must possess high-level written communication skills to complete required paperwork.
  • Ability to work at a high level within a multi-disciplinary team.
  • General knowledge of behavior health assessment and treatment plan development.
  • Knowledge of Applied Behavior Analysis.
  • Must demonstrate good computer, communication, analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Must be self-directed and resourceful.
  • Keyboarding skills of 50 words per minute.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Internet Explorer.
  • Must maintain confidentiality and privacy within HIPAA and state and federal guidelines.
  • Must maintain record compliance within established DOJ guidelines.
  • Must meet productivity requirements as established for the BCBA-CM team.
  • Knowledge of database utilization including Excel.
  • Knowledge of clinical documentation formats and electronica record systems.
