About the Position:

The AVP, Facilities Management is responsible for the overall leadership and direction of Beacon Health Options facilities across the country.  This leader will be responsible for ensuring the services and processes of the facilities management team support the business strategy and functional needs.  They ensure that the facility teams that oversee the specific location provide the most suitable working environment for the employees to achieve the required levels of productivity, while optimizing the cost impact to the organization.

Responsibilities:

Lead the facilities team and manage the overall direction of facilities across the organization while participating, leading, and providing support in the following areas:

  • Document preparation as required
  • Project management and oversight of contractor efforts
  • Cost comparisons
  • Planning for future development
  • Investigating service options
  • Building maintenance problem solving
  • Oversight of direct reports
  • Utilization of resources
  • Ensure a proactive preventive maintenance program
  • Over sight and control of building security

Requirements:

  • Ten to 15 years of experience in the facility management field
  • Ability to work in a fast paced environment
  • Demonstrated people, leadership and organizational skills with a track record of achievement
  • Computer skills
  • Available for afterhours responsibilities
  • Available for extended periods of travel
  • Demonstrated project management skills and experience
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Strong safety awareness and hazard determination skills
  • Budgeting and cost analysis experience
  • Physical abilities to meet daily job requirements
  • Certified Facility Manager (CFM) required
