Job Description


We are currently seeking a dynamic Account Partnerships Director to join our team in Louisville, KY.  The Account Partnerships Director will be responsible developing strong relationships within the Public Sector and Health Plan client base

Position Responsibilities:

  • Actively participate in annual account plan development and execution, and support efforts to meet annual revenue and profitability targets for designated clients
  • Work closely with the VP Account Partnerships to advance strategic initiatives and market new business opportunities
  • Improve client satisfaction year over year by serving as a strong go-to-expert on the client account and helping resolve operational and/or performance issues as they arise.
  • At the direction of the client, provide support by participating in external facing activities, including representing health plan on key behavioral health issues with state policymakers and other key stakeholders.
  • Maintain ongoing awareness of the environmental impacts on the clients’ business (e.g. legislative changes, organizational or financial challenges)

Position Requirements:

Education: A Bachelor’s Degree in a related field (e.g. healthcare administration, behavioral sciences, or management) is required. A Master’s degree in a similar area is preferred. 

Licensure:  None required

Relevant Work Experience:   Minimum of five years’ experience in the healthcare industry, preferably payer side (e.g. managed care plans), Medicaid or health policy, managed behavioral health or large scale provider groups/associations

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

  • Desired skill set includes business acumen, account management, consulting, strategy, or operations role within a business that is either directly contracting with health plans, state/local government providing clinical or administrative services, or serving as a vendor to a state contractor for clinical or administrative services. 
  • A thorough knowledge of account management, customer relations and business management are essential. 
  • The successful candidate will possess strong customer service ability, excellent written and verbal communication skills, and a high comfort level with management information systems and healthcare data. 
  • Knowledge and experience related to clinical services will be beneficial.  Some travel required is required for this role.
