Job Description


We are currently seeking a dynamic Senior Account Executive to join our team. Position location is flexible. The Senior Account Executive is responsible for the day to day leadership, management and retention of Dedicated Commercial Health Plan.  

Position Responsibilities:

  • Demonstrates and applies knowledge of and experience in behavioral healthcare industry.

  • Consistently works to meet the goals of the Company, and of the Account Management mission toward retention, client satisfaction and business growth.

  • Demonstrates and applies knowledge of MBHO and wellness products (e.g., EAP/Workplace Services, managed care, disability management and ancillary products).

  • Demonstrates and applies financial and administrative expertise in the provision of business deliverables.

  • Facilitates dialogue regarding competitive, high quality, market driven products and services with customers.Applies working knowledge of consultative selling and negotiation principals working in concert with organizational leadership.

  • Promotes and demonstrates a customer focus.

  • Understands and communicates operational implications of organizational decisions to both internal and external customers.Mobilizes key areas of the organization toward best practices and/or to enhance service delivery.

  • Analyzes data and articulate results and/or write to findings.

  • Works with account management support staff and operational leads to address and resolve operational issues impacting client satisfaction and business retention and/or to keep Operations apprised of account specific nuances.

  • Provides necessary information and data to manager and leadership to facilitate internal initiatives and business retention.

  • Successfully functions independently and in a team environment.

Position Requirements:

Education:  Bachelors’ (Masters’ preferred) degree in Business Administration, Health Care Administration or a core mental health discipline required.

Licensure: N/A

Relevant Work Experience:  A minimum of 7 years clinical/administrative in managed care; previous account management experience. Solid working knowledge of mental health systems required with clear understanding of psychiatric and chemical dependency case management and employee assistance programs.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

  • Requires solid working knowledge of Health Plan management, claims and customer service issues

  • Effective management, organization and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to articulate program verbally and in writing as necessary.

  • Willingness to travel required.
