About the Position:

We are currently seeking a dynamic Project Manager to join our Team.  The Project Manager will be responsible for leading and managing projects and enterprise-wide initiatives aimed at supporting corporate operations and the overall strategic direction of the firm. The candidate will be expected to manage scope, schedule, budget and resources for defined projects and initiatives.  They will lead project teams and manage sponsors and stakeholders as well as the overall project life cycle on assigned engagements. 

The ideal candidate must demonstrate leadership abilities in project management, resource management, planning, scope definition/management, and timely & effective responses to project changes and risks.  This individual must be able to work independently while keeping business and executive leadership apprised of project activities and risks.The candidate will typically collaborate and interact with various layers of the organization including, but not limited to: staff, managers, project sponsors and leaders/executives.

Position Responsibilities:

  1. Partner with business teams to define Charter and manage the scope, schedule, budget and resources, driving the successful delivery of projects
  2. Provide clear and concise project status tracking as well as required reporting and team resource management.
  3. Contribute, author, manage and maintain project artifacts; including but is not limited to: Charter, RAID, RACI, Project Plan, Project Health Metrics, etc.
  4. Determine, assess and manage resources and staffing for project engagements. Identify skill and staffing gaps; partner with leadership to resolve in a timely fashion
  5. Delegate tasks and responsibilities to appropriate personnel across the project team and ensure completion within agreed upon schedules.
  6. Build relationships and partner with staff and subject matter experts across departments to ensure coordination and completion of activities.
  7. In concert with project and business sponsor(s) build project success criteria and communicate to involved parties throughout project life cycle
  8. Maintain an up-to-date knowledge of company strategic objectives, product offerings, platform/system enhancements, and any industry, legislative, or regulatory changes that may impact the company portfolio of products and services.

Position Requirements:

Education: Bachelor's Degree. Graduate Degree preferred 

Relevant Work Experience: 4-6 years in health care, 2+ years in an Ombudsperson-like capacity and  health care project management preferred
