Job Description

General Summary    

The Director, Enterprise Solutions Office is primarily responsible for gathering information, conducting analysis and compiling requirements to address complex and/or enterprise wide operational issues.  The DIRECTOR provides oversight and review of solutioning efforts and serves as a primary contact for the IT department. The DIRECTOR reports to the Enterprise Solutions Office and works directly with regional operations leads, software developers and business analysts.  The DIRECTOR is responsible for working with business users to conduct and/or provide root-cause analysis, identify requirements, independently develop business and functional specifications for system enhancements or changes, work with software developers and database developers to interpret specifications and ensure standards are followed, create test cases and perform testing.  It is also expected that the DIRECTOR will make recommendations for global operations solutions; realizing the impact of changes holistically and systemically.

Duties and Responsibilities

  1. Chairs one or more joint committee meetings between business and IT department(s) to review and triage incoming software development requests
  2. Deliver operations strategy for the enterprise, capitalizing on opportunities to redefine management and execution of operations initiatives
  3. Act as liaison between internal and external business partners to define, document and review business and system requirements to support operational solution development.
  4. Works closely with key personnel and subject matter experts across all departments to ensure coordinated management of integration project activities.
  5. Formulate project success criteria and establish significant project milestones throughout project life cycle
  6. Partner with stakeholders to define and manage the scope, strategy and delivery of projects
  7. Develop and manage project schedules
  8. Provide clear and concise project tracking, reporting and team accountability, including but not limited to meeting minutes, weekly status reporting, action item tracking, regular project plan maintenance, metrics reporting, budget reporting, steering committee meetings, etc
  9. Effectively communicate status, changes, and issues to the relevant parties and stakeholders.
  10. Quickly address and /or escalate project issues and support their resolution.
  11. Coordinate with departments to provide analysis and solutioning training/guidance and documentation.
  12. Ability to effectively establish and maintain working relationships with all levels of the organization
  13. Strong analytic curiosity and innovative problem solving skills.
  14. Excellent customer focus and ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.
  15. Strong organizational skills including the ability to manage concurrent projects with competing priorities and deadlines.

  17. Performs other duties as assigned.

Education:

    • Bachelor's degree in a related field required (Computer Science, Business Administration or related field)
    • Master’s Degree in Business (or related field) not required, but strongly preferred

Years and Type of Relevant Work Experience:

  • A minimum of 7 years working in a business operations role focusing on metric driven efficiencies
  • A minimum of 5 years experience in a managed care organization, preferably behavioral health managed care organization
  • A minimum of 3 years experience in a business analyst position with proven success in improving efficiencies and implementing cost saving initiatives
  • A minimum of 2 years working in a business systems analyst or operations role with working knowledge of both FlexCare 360 and/or Connects priority operation systems
