About The Position:

The Audit Operations Coordinator, Claims’ primary function is to produce evidence requested by our clients associated with Claims and Operational audits. Additionally the Audit Operations Coordinator, Claims will serve to improve the overall impression of Beacon by our customers through professional and accurate presentation of requested samples. The incumbent will work closely with regional and operational staff to verify that material being produced is both timely and meets the requests of Beacon’s customers. The Audit Operations Coordinator, Claims will produce professional material that is meant to be outward facing and through a solid understanding of the role, be expected to identify deficiencies and/or risks that will be communicated to leadership.  In addition to high quality standards expected in this role, there will also be a need for strong time management skills especially when dealing with multiple priority requests. This role can be based in either Woburn, MA or Latham, NY

Position Responsibilities:

  • Produce claims samples to satisfy customer requests associated with audits.
  • Manage work to meet all deadlines
  • Develop and use tools to create efficiencies and standardization of the process.
  • Produces and maintains recurring reports that show status of efforts
  • Keeps management apprised of issues that may arise
  • Work closely with AVP Client Audits and CAPs and other member of the team to improve overall quality and value of services provided
  • Assist the Client Audit and CAPs team as needed
  • Other job duties as assigned

Position Requirements:

  • Education: Bachelor’s Degree required

Relevant Work Experience:

  • 1 year work experience in a related field or industry
  • Must understand the services provided by Beacon Health Options
  • Must understand standards of documentation usually associated with external audits, not limited to CMS or specific clients
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office applications (Specifically OneNote and SharePoint)
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Must be able to work collaboratively to achieve resolutions
  • Able to work within set guidelines but also needs to be able to adapt when goals change.  The ability to continually create incremental progress is key.
