ABOUT THE POSITION

The Clinical Liaison will work closely with the ICC Director and ICC Supervisor to support the program. Clinical Liaisons have professional and educational knowledge in the mental health field. Clinical Liaisons interact collaboratively with internal and external systems to support the functioning of the program and provide quality assurance with regularly entered data in multiple systems.

The ICC Clinical Liaison will also foster relationships between members, community providers, the Department of Children and Families, and Beacon staff in order to ensure members receive timely care and the program is functioning to capacity.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES

  •  Support the ICC Program’s case management by monitoring and reviewing new inquiries and referrals. Timely monitoring and reviewing of case activity through daily queue monitoring along with daily sweep of the Intensive Care Coordination (ICC) fax folder.
  • Completing administrative tasks such as taking minutes, creating agendas making copies, scanning documents, reserving conference rooms, and ordering supplies
  • The ICC Clinical Liaison reviews activities documented in the multiple internal and external systems utilized by the ICC Program to produce quality checking and scrub reports for the team, supervisor and director.
  • Administer fidelity surveys to families within the ICC program and track the responses.
  • Provide administrative support to the Wraparound Care Coordination statewide trainings and other program activities through collecting data, analyzing data, and supporting administration functions
  • Attend necessary staff meetings and trainings.
  • Interact with other departments such as Quality Management, Customer Service department, Provider Relations, Compliance department to foster improved efficiency between clinical and these departments.

  • Assist with other clinical and/or administrative management needs or projects as requested

  • Support Beacon’s clinical department around quality checking releases of information.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS

Education: A bachelor’s degree in a health related field (social work, psychology)

Licensures: None      

Years and Type of Relevant Work Experience: Previous experience (at least 1 year) in a mental health or substance abuse field; assessment & treatment plan development experience; care management experience; knowledge of CT community resources/ social services; good oral and written communication skills; ability to organize and implement action. Excellent computer skills required
