About The Position:

The Assistant Vice President of Brand Strategy will collaborate with and provide counsel to business and regional leaders and their teams to both develop and execute results driven brand initiatives that support and accelerate Beacon’s business goals.

A strategic counselor and flawless executor, we’re looking for a storyteller who is adept at listening and partnering with key senior leaders to develop, manage and execute brand and communication strategies that deliver results.

The AVP is responsible for serving as a senior-level advisor, managing various stakeholder interests, and leading a combined team of internal and external brand resources. You will oversee branding, creative, web, social, thought leadership, advertising and public relations.

Position Responsibilities:

Strategy:

  • Develop a brand experience roadmap and center of excellence to achieve sustainable business models
  • Design, develop, deploy and maintain a modern SEO and Social Optimized that drives leads and converts them to clients and is fast, aesthetically pleasing, mobile first and integrates with our Salesforce CRM, and ERP
  • Expert and passionate about creating KPIs, metrics and running analytics to ensure data-driven decisions are evaluated for ROI
  • Approach all marketing with a sales-minded approach

Digital Marketing:

  • Enhance digital presence (website, social) that aligns with the brand and supports business strategies
  • Lead the overall SEO, paid media and affiliate marketing efforts to elevate the volume of quality leads online
  • Enhance the existing marketing automation efforts to drive lead nurturing and conversion
  • Develop a strategy for social influencers and lead authentic and impactful partnerships across social platforms
  • Oversee media expenditure to drive bottom-line results

Brand Marketing:

  • Develop brand messaging and positioning that align with brand guidelines
  • Build brand awareness and relevance with key constituents (B2B, B2C, B2B2C)
  • Build an online community to drive brand positioning and messaging on social media platforms (Facebook, Pinterest, Twitter, Instagram, SnapChat, YouTube, LinkedIn, etc.)
  • Oversee Public Relations strategy and delivery to effectively position the company with key external constituents

Thought Leadership:

  • Develop thought leadership and content strategies that substantiate the brand and improve brand preference
  • Acts as a thought leader on topics related to Behavioral Health influencing presentations, white papers, case studies and info graphics

Events:

  • Oversee comprehensive events strategy that supports the brand and business goals at a national and regional level
  • Evaluate and optimize event presence to deliver ROI

Position Requirements:

  • Education:  Bachelor’s degree in related field preferred (business, marketing, advertising, communications, computer science); MBA a plus

Relevant Work Experience:

  • The ideal candidate has a solid brand, marketing and public relations background managing a variety of projects end-to-end.
  • 10- 15 years of experience in brand strategy, digital marketing, thought leadership and public relations
  • Prior experience with digital platform design and deployment a plus
  • Experience within B2B, B2C and B2B2C marketing a plus
  • Track record of building and leading high performing and relatively lean marketing teams
  • Experience working with CRM tools (preferably Salesforce) and marketing automation that drive data insights
  • Experience working with analysts and data scientists to pull the insights needed to analyze, grow and lead digital strategy
  • Proven experience in persuading others using strong logic and compelling data
  • Strong communication skills required; must be able to articulate a clear vision throughout all levels of an organization
  • Financial services expertise a plus
