Job Description

Beacon is currently seeking to hire a Clinical Administrative Assistant II to join our team at our Beaver, PA office. This position will report to the Office Administrative Supervisor and will provide a wide variety of administrative and staff support services. 

What does a typical day look like?

  • Schedules interagency service planning team (ISPT) meetings, coordinating between families, providers and county staff.
  • Supports VBH-PA and county staff with faxing, copying and phone calls.
  • Represents VBH-PA in a professional and positive manner in all circumstances.
  • Enters authorizations on a limited basis.
  • Maintains databases for department.
  • Responds to routine external correspondence and requests for information.
  • Organizes and prioritizes large volumes of information and telephone calls.

What you Contribute?

Education: High School Diploma or GED

Licensure: N/A

Relevant Work Experience: Two or more years of administrative/office experience.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

  • Must be able to interact and communicate with individuals at all levels of the organization
    • High level of interpersonal skills to handle sensitive situations
    • Must be able to work in a fast paced environment with demonstrated ability to handle multiple tasks and demands
    • Professional telephone demeanor
    • Strong Organizational skills
    • Excellent oral and written communication skills
