MISSION STATEMENT

To achieve service excellence by collaboratively identifying, developing and implementing efficient and effective business practices throughout the IT Department. Continuously seeks opportunities to support strategic transformation in planning, implementing, and evaluating better business practices to produce strong program results and meaningful outcomes.  

GOALS & OBJECTIVES

  • Utilize strategic frameworks to   facilitate strategic and tactical planning for Beacon Health Options, goal and objective setting, establishment of meaningful metrics and successful data collections strategies
  • Facilitate cross-department dialogue to align business and IT strategy
  • Document near and long-term strategy development; strategic leadership through facilitating or advising strategy development while demonstrating foresight, conceptual capabilities and market awareness
  • Evolve and maintain the IT Strategic roadmap for a 400+ personnel department
  • Gather, classify and analyze data to optimize costs and leverage return on investment [IT Spend Analysis]
  • Facilitate IT Executive Steering and Leadership meetings – driving key decision-making on corporate priorities and alignment with overall strategy
  • Develop and maintain the IT annual planning and demand management processes
  • Coordinate with Director of IT Service Management to translate strategic objectives into executable initiatives
  • Analyze the break-even levels for products and service margins, and overall center profitability on an ongoing basis
  • Communicate, align, and when necessary, help to change, the business vision and project expectations across all stakeholders and team members to ensure clear understanding of goals and their deliverables
  • Support large-scale enterprise-wide projects that incorporate a proactive and innovative solution to addressing business challenges and achieving organizational goals and objectives. Integrates how the big picture of the initiatives comes together from
  • Seek ways to improve performance, reduce cost and streamline management practices and processes in support of the core mission activities
  • Identify gaps in services, develops proposals and business cases to improve capabilities and partners with the business to implement solutions, particularly those that cross core organizational boundaries organizational effectiveness

QUALIFICATIONS

  • 5-10 years of experience in IT Planning, Strategy and Transformation
  • 5+ year of Advisory Consulting or equivalent preferred
  • Working knowledge of the healthcare industry
  • 5+ years of experience creating C-level presentations
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills
  • Solid technical and business foundation with an aptitude for quick learning
  • Strong facilitation skills, forging consensus around credible, executable solutions
  • Passionate about affecting real change
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills to positively convey findings and influence senior leadership and other decision makers,
  • Ability to use visual data tools to present data clearly to non-technical audiences
  • Strong familiarity with strategic planning concepts
  • Flexible analytical approach allowing for results at varying levels of precision
  • Hands-on and non-hierarchical operator who is equally effective in managing up and down and relates well at all levels and cultures

Education

  • ​  BS/ BA/ BBA in Computer Science/Business Information Systems or similar degree preferred; Business minor or MBA a plus
