We are currently seeking a dynamic AUTISM SPECIALIST to join our team at our office in WOBURN, MAThe AUTISM SPECIALIST oversees Care Coordinators who provide telephonic triage and care management assistance of members with Autism Spectrum Disorders. (ASD) accessing Applied Behavioral Analysis (ABA) benefit.  The Autism Specialist will also be responsible for reviewing Board Certified Behavioral Analyst (BCBA) Assessments submitted by providers for adherence to ASD “best practice” guidelines.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Provide peer-to-peer case consultation to BCBA network providers to support treatment planning and maximize member progress.

  • Act as a liaison with parents and the health care community to ensure continuum of care and support for members.

  • Facilitate clinical operations process to expedite linkage to care.

  • Train Autism Service team staff and network providers on proprietary care management platform.

  • Collaborate with Network Development to support recruitment and provider relations.

  • Participate in corporate quality improvement activities as needed.

  • Assist with special projects and administrative tasks as assigned.

  • Perform other duties as required.

Position Requirements:

Education: Master’s Degree in Mental Health field required 

Licensure: Must be a Board Certified Behavioral Analyst (BCBA)

Relevant Work Experience:   A minimum of 3 - 5 years’ experience providing ABA therapy to children diagnosed with ASD.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

  • Must have experience supervising multiple staff

  • Must have strong organizational skills and understanding of systems analysis

  • Knowledge of Applied Behavioral Analysis and Autism Spectrum Disorder

  • Ability to multi-task especially when conversing with a member or provider while entering clinical data information onto ASG server

  • Must possess high-level written communication skills to complete required paperwork

  • Must demonstrate good computer, communication, analytical and problem-solving skills

  • Must be self-directed and resourceful

  • Must maintain confidentiality and privacy with HIPAA along with state and federal guidelines

  • Must maintain record compliance within established ASD treatment guidelines

  • Must meet productivity requirements as established for the Autism Services team

** Work hours vary between 8 am and 6 pm to accommodate call center. Job may require additional hours to accomplish workload by deadlines.
