We are currently seeking a dynamic ADDICTION SERVICES NETWOK MANAGER to join our team at our office in BOSTON, MA.  The ADDICTION SERVICES NETWORK MANAGER will plan, organize and support strategies and initiatives to promote MBHPs strategic objectives related to the treatment of substance use disorders and provides subject matter expertise and consultation related to Addiction Services.  

Position Responsibilities:

  • Under the direction of the Director of Addiction Services, develops strategies and oversees the implementation of operational processes related to network quality/provider relation functions, information technology/reporting requirements/data integrity for Addiction Services.

  • Manages SUD projects related to contract deliverables and new EOHHS initiatives related to SUD as assigned.

  • Establishes goals and objectives to support organizational priorities. Develops a plan to support regional network management functions to ensure consistency and coordination throughout the state.

  • Assist in developing strategies and implementation plans to support the integration of SUD treatment in a variety of clinical settings, coordinating new initiatives to meet service gaps, and identifying areas of strengths and opportunity for improvement

  • Tracks and monitors promising developments and best practices in SUD treatment.

  • Work with the Integrated Regional Team to manage provider performance towards established goals, offering consultation and clarification of MBHP clinical and network policies and standards related to Addiction Services.

  • Represent the department as a member of performance incentive teams, committees, and task forces as needed.

  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Position Requirements:

Education: Master’s Degree required

License(s):  Mental Health Licensed Clinician (LICSW, LMHC, LMFT, LADC)

Relevant Work Experience:    5 – 8 years’ experience with significant managed care and behavioral health experience including experience related to the treatment of SUD and the Addiction Services treatment continuum in Massachusetts.  

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

  • Knowledge of MS Office – Word, Excel, PowerPoint, MS Project & COGNOS

  • Strong analytical and problem solving abilities.

  • Interpersonal communication skills and includes both verbal and written.

  • Collaboration and team-oriented work philosophy.
